Davidsons and their descendants from around the world gathered at Tulloch Castle Hotel, the ancestral home of the Clan Davidson Chiefs, on 29/30 September 2007 for our Association Annual meeting and Clan Dinner.

We welcomed Clan members and visitors from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, Northern Ireland, England and Scotland.

In particular, we had the opportunity to welcome Grant Davidson, the eldest son and heir to Alister ‘Jock’ Davidson, the Chief of the Clan Davidson.

The weekend’s program included an evening of “Tales of the Clans”, the formal opening of the Clan Davidson Room, Annual General Meeting, a walk up the hill to see the Caisteal Gorach and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, Clan Dinner and highland entertainment, participation in the morning service at St Clement’s Church, Dingwall (built with Davidson funding), and a trip to Cromarty for a walk back through time with a local historian.

Many items of Davidson memorabilia were on sale at the Gathering, including tartan tablecloths, ties, sashes, our Clan piper’s CDs, and engraved glasses and decanters.
