Our first Gathering since Covid restrictions were lifted was held in October 2021 at the Woodlands Hotel, Broughty Ferry, near Dundee. Many Clan members and their families enjoyed a range of activities over a sociable weekend.
Highlights were an informal Friday night meal followed by a “Race Night”, which was great fun. On Saturday, we held our AGM, and listened to an illustrated presentation by Clan Genealogist, Nick Hide, about Davidson family history in the area.
This was followed by an interesting talk about the history of Brought Ferry RNLI Lifeboat by Murray Brown, the lifeboat coxswain.

Our formal Clan dinner on Saturday night included a piper, dancing and entertainment. Activities over the weekend raised a substantial sum for charity, which was donated to Broughty Ferry RNLI Station.
If you are a Davidson, or have Davidson ancestry, why not join us and meet many other Davidsons.
Our Gatherings are very sociable and we welcome new Clan members.
